The latest devices from the field of CAD/CAE are used for our designing process:

• AutoCAD^{® -} designing and creating technical documentation, it speeds up preparing of documentation and enables sharing of ideas.
• Solid Edge^®- leading system for 3D designing that helps engineers to design faster and more effectively.
• MAGMAsoft^®- system that enables verification of designed production technology with help of computer simulation of casting process and subsequently insure its correction. Heat stress in the casting is analyzed as well.    

The use of full software possibilities enables to shorten time of production implementation and raise quality of castings before production process had started. 

  

Pattern shop

We can manufacture our patterns or adapt and repair patterns delivered by our customer.

Pattern shop has a range of machines and equipments for making wooden patterns (of up to 3000mm x 2500mm x 1500mm overall dimensions) and metal patterns (of up to 700 kgand 1000 mmx 800 mmx 300 mmoverall dimensions).

 

The smelting
department

The smelting departments is equipped in two arc furnaces of 3 tones capacity, arc furnace of 6 tones capacity and induction furnace 2x2,5 tones produced by Asea-Brown Boveri.

We have introduced a liquid metal enriching method consisting of argonation in a vat and blowing in powdered elements with use of “Polko” equipment.

Before pouring the metal into moulds extra thermometry in the vat is taken.

 

The cast steel and cast iron moulding plant

The moulding department enables singular and serial production of castings.
Moulds for serial production are made of bentonite masses by jolt-moulding machines FKT-108 (castings from 5 to 150 kgmass).
The moulding department for singular production manufactures castings of up to 5000 kgaccording to technology of furan masses with use of mixer-heaper made by VÖHR company (maximal overall dimensions of castings 3000mm x 3000mm x 2000mm).
Masses from moulds produced with furan technology are subject to reclamation. Dimensions of moulding boxes for serial production are: 950 mmx 750 mmx (340+270) mm.
The cores are made under application of the hot core box method on core shooters and on the basis of chemo-hardening and thermo-hardening masses.

 

The fettling department and heat treatment

The fettling department is equipped with two impeller-chain shot blasting machines of British manufacture Pangborn and Tilghman as well as with two shot blast chambers with turntables OWPK-4.
In the fettling department we carry out rough machining of castings and non-destructive tests.
The department has following furnaces for heat-treating castings: four gas-fired furnaces with retractable bottom of 18m² and 6m², furnace manufactured by Siemens with palette size:  1250 mmx 750 mmand maximum mass of heat-treated casting 500 kg.
