History

The Casting Plant started its activity in 1960 securing needs of Mining Machinery Factory “Pioma”. In the following years the foundry was systematically modernized and expanded its business by subsequent branches of industry.
As a result of processional transformations in “Pioma” S.A.the casting plant has been separated from the company since 01.01.2000, becoming  Pioma-Odlewnia Sp. z o.o.
From 2006 to 2011, Pioma-Odlewnia belonged to the Famur Group.
In 2009 has been found Polish Foundry Group, which form: Pioma-Odlewnia and Iron Foundry “Śrem”.
